The Dunsmuir Railroad Depot Historical Society advises that the Dunsmuir Museum is part of Siskiyou County’s museum PASSPORT program.
The PASSPORT project was the idea of Siskiyou County Museum volunteer Twyla Morford with thanks to a grant from the Pacifi-Corp Foundation. Fourteen Siskiyou County museums have PASSPORTS that can be purchased for $3.95. The PASSPORTS will encourage folks to explore the county.
The Dunsmuir Museum is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the 1st and 3rd Saturdays as well as during the town’s RAILROAD DAYS. Take note of the three murals; take a selfie in front of Joe Vella’s #1727 Locomotive! See you at the Museum.
